WATERCOLOR EVENINGS, 2008

Two programs will be presented by two AWS Signature Members during the April, 2008 exhibition.

Tuesday April 8, 2008 -  Domenic di Stefano Watercolor Demonstration, "From Start To Finish."
Domenic paints the world around him.  He is drawn by the unique qualities of sunlight, color and textures upon landscapes as well as gritty harbor yards.  His watercolors are bold, direct and spontaneous.  Domenic describes himself as a purist and paints transparent watercolor in a free manner.

Tuesday April 15, 2008 -  Tom Nicholas Slide Presentation, "The Spirit Of The Landscape."
Tom's motivation is "capturing the moment."  He finds the essence of a place and adds a moodiness which can range from quiet to dramatic.  Many of the images you will see were painted on location.  Tom will discuss his approach to painting outdoors and in the studio using both transparent and opaque watercolor media.

Both evenings are free and open to the public.
Each evening will begin promptly at 6PM.  Seating is limited.
